World's Easiest (and Authentic!) Chicken Cacciatore Recipe

- 1 stalk of celery washed and dried
- 2 carrots washed and dried
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 onions
- 5 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 500 g chicken breast cut into 3-4 cm pieces
- 3 tablespoons of white flour use almond flour for keto version of this recipe
- 1 glass of white wine
- 300 g of peeled tomatoes
- Fresh parsley to garnish
Cut the celery, carrots, and garlic cloves into small pieces.
Thinly slice the onions.
Add the flour to a plate and lightly flour the chicken pieces, coating all sides.
Heat the olive oil in a large non-stick skillet. Add the vegetables and a pinch of salt and pepper. Fry over medium heat for 10 minutes.
When the vegetables are ready, add the chicken pieces to the skillet and cook for about 10 minutes, flipping them occasionally, until golden brown.
Add a glass of white wine, mix a little and let it evaporate. It will take a few minutes.
At this point, add the peeled tomatoes and lower the heat. Crush them with a spoon, cover, and cook until the sauce has reduced, stirring occasionally.
Your Chicken Cacciatore is ready. Serve immediately and decorate with fresh parsley if you wish.
